2012-SPECIAL EVENTS/ACTIVITIES

*Every Tuesday is Potluck, Cook-Off or Appetizer Night, Check the outside board for which event will be held. 
*Sunday is Movie Night in the Pavilion starting at 8:30. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy, concession food available.
*August is Artisan Month, Artisan Bread Making, Beginners Quilting and Native American Jewelry Making classes.
May 15      Seaview opens for the season, Potluck Dinner for everyone. Cocktail hour at 5:00  in the Lounge,dinner at
                  6:00 p.m. so bring a dish and meet your neighbor.
*May 26-28  Memorial Day Weekend  and Bird Watching  Festival. Saturday is Cook Off Night, bring your favorite
                   Chicken Wings, Chilis, Salads or breads and let our judges pick the best. Prizes for each catergory. 
June 17     Seaview Dining Room is officially open  on  Fathers Day "All You Can Eat Breakfast Buffet " 8-10:30 
                 or until gone so come early. The Old Sow Dining Room  opens from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00.p.m. Basil's Bar is 
                 open from 4:30 p.m. - closing.
Jun 30      "All You Can Eat" BREAKFAST BUFFET" Sat-Sun 8-10:30 or until gone so come early. Eastport
*Jul 1         Celebrates with day & evening events and the  LARGEST  PARADE IN MAINE. Fireworks at  Overlook 
                Park, sit in your chairs and watch the fireworks from the Seaview Dock & Shore Sites.
July 7       Seaview's famous "All You Can Eat" FISH FRY" Fresh local Haddock, french fries/onion rings/cole
                 slaw/dessert, sweet tea 5-7 pm
*July 14     "SEAVIEW GOLF TOURNAMENT" This fundraiser is for Washington County Hospice. Call for details
                 and entry requirements. Awards, prizes and an "All You Can Eat" BBQ CHICKEN DINNER" Our
                 famous sauce basted on half a chicken cooked over a wood fire and all the fixings 5-7, come early!!!
July 21     "All You Can Eat" "PASTA NIGHT" Linguini or Spaghetti with choice of sauces, garlic bread & salad
*July 28    Seaview's Annual LUAU & PIG  ROAST! Wild Shirts and luau skirts, drink specials. "ALL YOU CAN
                EAT SPIT PIG" and fixings Dinner 5-7 p.m. or until gone. Music and dancing afterwards.
*Aug 4      2nd Annual "LOBSTER FESTIVAL" This event is a fundraiser for "The Lost Fishermen Memorial Park"
                 in Lubec. Lobster, Corn on the Cob, Baked Potato, Dessert and Tea. Chinese Auction 3-6 p.m.
*Aug 11-12  Come and enjoy Indian Days, Passamaquoddy Bay Indians celebrate their heritage.Basket making
                  Dancing, exhibits,  fireworks at night."All You Can Eat " 1/2 BBQ Chicken Dinner with Baked Potato,
                  Corn on the Cob, Bean Hole Beans, Dessert and Ice Tea on Saturday from 5-7 p.m. or until gone
Aug 18     "All You Can Eat "  STEAMSHIP ROUND" Carved beef , baked potato, salad, dessert, roll & sweet tea
                 5-7p.m. or until gone
Aug 25     Seaview's famous "All You Can Eat  "FISH FRY" fresh local haddock, french fries,onion rings,cole slaw,
                roll, dessert, sweet tea 5-7 pm OTG
*Sep 1-3   Labor Day Weekend,  Saturday, "All You Can Eat" BBQ CHICKEN DINNER" Half a chicken basted 
                  in our famous sauce with all the fixings 5-7 p.m. OTG. Sunday is SALMON FESTIVAL SUNDAY, 
                crafts, vendors, music in town. Salmon Dinner all day!
*Sep 8-9    Eastports "PIRATE FESTIVAL"  Walk the plank matey, Pet Pirate contest, Pirate Parade, Bed Races, Best
                 dressed pirate. All You Can Eat "BREAKFAST BUFFET"  Saturday,  from 8-10:30 a.m. Come and cheer
                 for  the Seaview in the Pirate Bed Race.  FIREWORKS AT NIGHT!!!
Oct 8        Canadian Thanksgiving and Columbus Day Weekend, come and have Thanksgiving with us. Free for
                 Seaview Guests Turkey Dinner and all the fixings. Cocktails at 5:00 and dinner at 6:00 p.m.
Oct 15       Seaview officially closed for the Season.

Our dining room the "Old Sow" serves  from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Don't feel like cooking? Pick up a fresh lobster right from our Lobster Pound.  If staying in Eastport "DINE & DASH is free trolley pick up for B&B's, Motel  East and  in town guests who want to dine at the Seaview's "Old Sow Restaurant"  We are not fine dining but our food is! Dining room closes for the season September 15th.
